INTRODUCTION   The reproductive units of plants are known as seeds which play an essential role in the life cycle of flowering plants,trees and other types of vegetation. The embryo of the new plant is contained in a protective outer covering which we call as seed along with food supply. Seeds are considered as a vital part of plant biology because of the significance it holds in different fields like botany,agriculture,ecology and human society.
