INTRODUCTION  The branch of chemistry which deals with the study of carbon-containing compounds is known as organic chemistry. These compounds can be found in all living organisms and are considered as building blocks of life. It is a very vast and diverse field which encompasses the study of the structure,properties and reactions of the organic compounds. Carbon is an unique element and known to be an ideal element for forming the complex molecules necessary for life.
